I am a compassionate and experienced therapist dedicated to supporting individuals and families through life's challenges. I believe in creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a way that promotes healing and growth. Whether you are navigating trauma, parenting struggles, or the complex emotions that accompany perinatal transitions, I am here to guide you toward lasting, positive change.
I have spent three years working at a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC), where I honed my skills in providing mental health services to diverse populations. My experience has equipped me to work with clients from a variety of backgrounds, addressing mental health concerns ranging from trauma to anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. This role has also deepened my understanding of the systemic challenges many individuals face in accessing mental health care, and I am committed to breaking down those barriers for my clients. I hold a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Simmons University, where I gained a strong foundation in clinical practice and mental health care. Over the years, I have continued my professional development by completing specialized training in several therapeutic modalities. These include: Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT): This evidence-based approach allows me to support clients, especially children and families, in processing and overcoming trauma-related challenges. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR): This powerful method helps individuals heal from the emotional distress of trauma by processing memories in a safe and effective manner. Play Therapy: My training in play therapy enables me to engage younger children (aged 3 and up) in a developmentally appropriate way, fostering emotional expression and healing through play. Perinatal Mental Health: With additional training in perinatal mental health, I provide specialized care to individuals navigating the mental health challenges associated with pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period.
